Largely dry and sunny but with some cloud and showers at times. Feeling mild in the sunshine.

High pressure acting as the dominant weather feature through the next seven days at least. This will bring dry weather and sunny skies for many, although watch for weak fronts affecting parts of the country at times. Frosty nights too. During the day it will feel relatively mild but temperatures will dip to more average values towards the end of the week.

Tuesday 02/03/21
High pressure stays to the east on Tuesday with lower pressure west of Ireland. The day should be dry for many but with more cloud across southern England and south Wales. Showery outbreaks of rain will push up into southwest and central southern England through the afternoon. Cloud will also increase across central Scotland. A relatively mild day for all with highs between Highs at 8 to 13C.


Wednesday 03/03/21
Pressure stays generally high through Wednesday although loudier skies across southern England and south Wales will continue through the day with the patchy showerrs becoming confined to the southeast of the country. A largely dry and sunny day elswhere although southern Ireland will see more in the way of cloud about too. High temperatures at 9 to 14C.
 


Thursday 04/03/21
Cloud in the north will spread southwards through the day. Showers will affect widely across northern and central Scotland but also reach southern parts of Scotland too. Showers for Northern Ireland and Ireland, some turning into longer spells of rain. Possible scattered showers across central England. Drier elsewhere. Best of the sunshine in the far south. A cooler day for many due to the cloud cover. Highs at 6 to 12C.

Friday 05/03/21
High pressure still remaining the dominating feature and sits to the north of Scotland on Friday, although there could be more in the way of cloud about with possible showers across England, Wales and Ireland. Longer spells of rain later on for the southwest of England. Largely dry across Scotland and Northern Ireland. A cooler day again with highs at 6 to 10C.

Saturday 06/03/21
High pressure still remaining dominant and it will be a largely improved day for the south compared to Friday. Watch for a widespread frost first thing, however. There will brisk easterly wind along southern coastal counties and it will keep it feeling cooler here. Cloud and rain expected for the far southwest tip of Cornwall and the far south of Ireland. Dry and sunny elswhere. Highs of 5 to 8C.

Sunday 07/03/21
A possible frosty start again but a largely dry and fine day with the best of the sunshine in the east, cloudier skies further west. There could even be some rain for south and west Ireland as a front pushes in here. Breezy too across Ireland, Northern Ireland and southwest England. Highs of 5 to 8C.
