Drier and brighter weather develops into the weekend, then moe mixed mid-next week

Higher pressure builds into the weekend bringing better weather. There will be sunny spells and it is likely to be dry as well. It will be staying dry into the first part of the week. There are indications that conditions become more mixed into the middle stages of the week.

Saturday 13/7/19
High pressure remains on Saturday. A northerly flow brings cool conditions and sunny spells. There is a risk of some showers in central and northern Scotland, with the risk of scattered showers forming over the Pennines and parts of the Welsh Mountains on Saturday afternoon. Dry for most and feeling cool. Highs at 16 to 22C.

Sunday 14/7/19
High pressure is likely to dominate on Sunday. This brings lots of dry weather with good spells of sunshine. There is a low risk of a shower forming over the Pennines in the afternoon. Temperatures rising to between 20 and 24C but much cooler on eastern coasts at 17C.
 

Monday 15/7/19
The area of high pressure should bring another fair day on Monday. They will be plenty of sunshine and it should be dry. Temperatures at 20 to 24C.

 
 
 

Tuesday 16/7/19
High pressure remains on Tuesday. Another dry day with sunny spells for most, although scattered showers forming in Scotland and Ireland. Highs at 20 to 25C.

Wednesday 17/7/19
Low pressure over western Ireland on Wednesday is expected to be pushing outbreaks of rain eastwards through the country during the day. The showery rain may be heavy in the west at times. Highs at 21 to 26C.

Some showers in Scotland, Ireland and the west of the UK on Wednesday. Drier elsewhere with sunny spells. Tops near 19 to 24C.
