Becoming more unsettled with rain and showers but staying warm
The weather is set to be turning more unsettled as we head through this week. Lower pressure develops bringing cloud and rain. Winds will be picking up too. It remains unsettled into next week with rain and showers on some days. Tending to be remaining mild though with some warm weather in the south and east.

Friday 19/7/19 Low pressure west of Ireland will be west of Ireland on Friday. Fronts will be bringing cloud and rain to much of Ireland, Wales and into southwest England. Other parts of England should be dry and bright with sunny spells, although some heavy showers will be affecting Scotland. Temperatures reaching 22C in the east, 18 to 20C in the west.
Saturday 20/7/19 The area of low pressure passing through Scotland on Saturday. Rain will be affecting many northern and eastern areas at first, but then turning brighter and drier from the west. Highs at 18 to 24C.
Sunday 21/7/19 A fair start to Sunday for many, but then showers will be developing as a trough of low pressure passes east. The showers could be heavy at times in northern and western areas. Highs at 18 to 24C.
Monday 22/7/19 Low pressure is expected west of Ireland on Monday. This brings a west day to much of Ireland and the far west of the UK. Eastern areas are likely to be drier and brighter. Winds increasing too with a risk of gales on exposed western coasts. Highs at 16 to 18C in the rain, 25C in the sunshine across southeast England.
Tuesday 23/7/19 A brisk southwest flow affects the UK and Ireland on Tuesday with low pressure situated south of Iceland. There will be periods of rain, most in the west, whilst more southern and eastern areas should be drier. Highs at 17 to 23C.
Wednesday 24/7/19 Low pressure remains northwest of Scotland on Wednesday. This brings sunshine and showers, mainly in the west. Some rain through southern and central England as a front edges slowly east. Highs near 17 to 24C.
