Becoming warmer next week

Issued: 1000 Friday 19th July 2019
Duty forecaster: Claire Darbinyan

Wet weather for all; turning drier, sunnier and warmer

Unsettled over the next couple of days as areas of low pressure cross over or close to the UK and Ireland. These bring bands of rain with them, some of it heavy. By the end of the weekend and into next week higher pressure builds east of the country allowing for temperatures to rise. Fronts over Ireland and western Scotland may bringing some rain here. Uncertainty in conditions continues into the middle of next week.
