Much colder with plenty of dry weather, but rather misty and murky

The weather is set to change across all parts of the UK and Ireland in the coming days. It will be turning much colder, but will also be drier too. Conditions looks set to remain cold into next week although it also stays mainly dry although increasingly misty and murky. There could be some rain in Ireland and western parts of the UK from mid week.

Monday 28/10/19
High pressure remains to the west of Scotland on Monday with lower pressure to the east. All areas will have a cold day. Further showers affect northern and eastern Scotland with one or two running down the eastern coasts of England as well as northern coasts of Northern Ireland. Elsewhere the day is going to be sunny and dry. Highs at 7 to 10C.


Tuesday 29/10/19
High-pressure over Scotland on Tuesday brings a spare day to many areas. There will be a morning frost in places, but then plenty of sunshine and dry weather for most. A week front over southern island in Southwest England may bring some cloud and spots of rain here. Temperatures rising to between 6 and 9C.
 


Wednesday 30/10/19
Pressure remains high on Wednesday. They will be broken cloud and some mist around throughout the day. Most areas should be dry and then maybe a few bright spells developing. Rain may affect Southwest Ireland. Another cold day with temperatures between 5 and 9°C.
 


Thursday 31/10/19
High pressure stay to the east on Thursday, with lower pressure west of Ireland. There is much uncertainty in the forecast from Thursday onwards, but at the moment we expect cloud and some outbreaks of rain in Ireland but most of the UK to be dry with bright spells. Staying cold with temperatures between 5 and 9°C.


Friday 1/11/19
High pressure to the east and low pressure to the west again on Friday. Much of the UK remains dry and cold, but some cloud and rain could affect Ireland. Highs at 5 to 9C.

Saturday 2/11/19
Little changes into Saturday with lower pressure to the west bringing lcud and some outbreaks of rain. Eastern areas tending to be drier with some bright or sunny spells. Highs at 6 to 10C.
