Wednesday
Rain in western Scotland and eastern Ireland this morning, slowly edging eastwards to be across northern and western England the Midlands and Wales by mid afternoon. Bright for central and eastern areas with some decent spells of sunshine, but cloudier over as the rain approaches from the west. Turning drie,r but staying cloud in Ireland, perhaps brighter for Scotland with some showers in the north and west. Highs at 9 to 14C.


Wednesday Night
Patchy rain in southeast England and East Anglia at first this evening. This clears, many areas then dry. However, an area of rain into Ireland by midnight will be pushing slowly east to be into Wales and western England as well as western Scotland by morning. Winds increasing in the west too. Lows near 2 to 6C.
 


Thursday
An area of showery rain crossing from west to east through the early part of Thursday. A few bursts of heavier rain in the west. Southern coasts may stay damp into the afternoon, and it could be that rain lingers in the southeast until evening. Drier, yet mosty cloudy weather follows into the west. By evening some further rain and drizzle arrives in western Ireland. Breezy in the south. Highs at 7C in northern Scotland, 13C in southern England.


Friday
An area of low pressure passes to the north of Scotland bringing strong winds. Rain in northern and western Scotland as well as western and northern parts of Ireland. Drizzle in northwest England and the north and west of Wales. Dry and rather cloudy in other areas with an odd spot of drizzle here and there. Mist and fog over northern and western coasts and hills. Highs near 9C in northern Scotland but to 14C in southern England.
