Sunday
A largely fair and very mild Sunday morning for England, Wales and Ireland. Plenty of cloud but some bright or sunny spells too. Thicker cloud in Scotland where there will be outbreaks of rain, mostly further north with the south largely dry. Into the afternoon, gales will be affecting Scotland along with a period of heavy rain in the northern and west here. Staying dry for most of England, Wales and eastern Ireland though with plenty of cloud and some bright spells too. Highs at 9 to 13C.


Sunday Night
Overnight sees outbreaks of rain to continue to affect northern and western regions of Scotland where gale force winds will blow through. Some showery rain also affecting western Irish counties and some regions over northern England where it will also be windy. Otherwise dry with some developing clear spells. Lows at 4 to 9C.
 


Monday
A cold front sits across central and northern Scotland on Monday bringing a showery band of rain to many regions here throughout the day. Strong winds ease back here. A brisk wind with cloud and drizzly rain affecting Northern Ireland into southern Scotland and the Borders region. Dry and breezy for England and Wales although always a fair amount of cloud around. Highs at 7 to 14C.


Tuesday
A weak ridge of high pressure builds on Tuesday. Broken cloud and mostly dry, some bright or sunny spells in the east. Cloudier skies towards the west with some patchy rain affecting western coasts and hills. Dry eastern Ireland, wetter in the west. Highs at 14C in southeast England, a cooler 6 or 7C in Scotland.
