A cold front sits across central and southern Scotland on Monday bringing a showery band of rain to many regions here throughout the day. Blustery here too. Drier further north with variable cloud and some sunny spells. Cloudy also across Northern Ireland and northern England with some drizzle about with a brisk wind though easing. Dry and fine with sunny spells further south. Another mild day with highs at 9 to 14C.


Monday Night
Staying cloudy with outbreaks of rain across the north tonight. Dry elsewhere with clear spells with the risk of mist and fog patches developing across south Wales and southern English counties by dawn. Lows will stay above zero at 5 to 9C.

 
 
 


Tuesday
A weak ridge of high pressure builds on Tuesday. Broken cloud and mostly dry conditions in the south and east with bright or sunny spells and feeling mild. Cloudier skies towards the west with some patchy rain affecting western coasts and hills. Rain becoming more persistent by evening across Ireland and Northern Ireland. Highs at 14C in southeast England, a cooler 6 or 7C in Scotland.


Wednesday
Low pressure drifts over the country on Wednesday giving a mixed weather day. There will be a fair amount of cloud for most areas, occasional sunny spells, but also outbreaks of rain moving across the country affecting many areas of the UK. Highs at 6 to 10C.
