Bright & breezy
Showers in northwest

Sunday
A dry day ahead for most. Some cloud at first this morning across southern areas, broken cloud in central and northern parts. There will be pockets of sunshine too and these are going to be continuing into the afternoon. A early frost in Scotland and parts of northern England. It should then be a dry day with some sunshine this morning, although a tendency for some cloud to develop late morning and into the afternoon. Again this should be broken and apart from a spot of drizzle over western coasts of Scotland, all areas will be dry. Light winds, although moderate to fresh in northwest Scotland. Highs at 6 to 8C.

Sunday Night
Skies clearing for many tonight with a frost developing. There could be a few mist or fog patches by morning too, especially in central and northern parts of England. More cloud in western Scotland and western Ireland, some cloud too for southeastern England. Lows near -3 to 2C, depending on how much cloud is overhead any location.

Monday
Early mist and fog patches soon clearing on Monday morning, a chilly start to the day for some with a slight frost. Good spells of sunshine for many areas, the best in central and eastern areas. Always more cloud in western Scotland and the western coasts of Ireland where there may be a few spots of drizzle. High pressure keeps most areas dry. Tops at 6 to 8C.

Tuesday
High pressure remains on Tuesday bringing lots of dry weather again. There will be an early frost in much of England and Wales. Mist and fog patches could again occur in central and southeastern areas although these soon clear. Then a fair and bright day in much of England and Wales. More cloud through Scotland, northern England and Ireland as a weak front drifts lowly south. Staying dry. Highs at 5 to 7C.
