Tuesday
A northeast wind brings another cold day. There will be cloud and some showers, most of them in eastern areas and across southern coasts. Little change is expected in the afternoon with the cold, showery conditions continuing. Sunnier skies in western Scotland and much of the north and west of Ireland. Feeling particularly cold in the wind with temperatures at 6 to 7C for most.


Tuesday Night
Plenty of cloud tonight over much of the country. The thickest cloud in eastern Scotland and eastern England where there may be some showers. Clearer skies in southern England and Ireland as well as western Scotland. Lows near -2C in Scotland, 3C in cloudier parts of England.
 


Wednesday
Cloud affecting many areas of the UK and Ireland on Wednesday. The northeast flow will be bringing a few showers into eastern and central areas of England. Bright spells between the cloud, the best of them in the west. Dry for much of Scotland, with dry and sunny conditions in western areas. Staying sunny too in central and northern parts of Ireland. Highs at 6 to 8C.
 


Thursday
High pressure remains dominant across the British Isles on Thursday. Some cloud in many parts of northern England, Ireland and eastern England, a few showers here. Brighter skies in central and southern England and Wales with some sunny spells. Dry in Scotland and bright too with sunny spells. The best sunshine in the west of Scotland. A cold day again at 6 to 8C.
