Friday
Low pressure to the north of Scotland passes east towards Scandinavia through Friday. Gale force winds, even strong gale force in eastern Scotland and NE England, first thing and outbreaks of rain ease back across Scotland and northern England. Showers to follow across north and west Scotland, otherwise it will be a dry day with sunny spells across Scotland into northern England. Rather cloudy in other areas with spots of light rain and drizzle pushing southwards across England and Wales. Northern Ireland seeing outbreaks of rain by late afternoon. Highs at a mild 14 or 15C across central and southern England, while 7 to 9C across Scotland.


Friday Night
Rain spreads eastwards across Northern Ireland, northern England and into southern and central Scotland overnight sinking down through central into southern England and Wales by early Saturday morning. Possible sleet and snow over the higher ground across Scotland. Largely dry elsewhere. Lows dropping to a chilly 0 to 3C across Scotland, a milder 6 to 11C elsewhere.
 


Saturday
Rather cloudy and murky, some mist and damp across much of the country, wet in places across Scotland after some rain passes east overnight here. Some developing sunny spells across England, Wales and Ireland though others will stay largely cloudy with wet and or damp conditions. Chilly through north and east Scotland, elsewhere highs at 8 to 14C.
 


Sunday
A windy day particularly further north. Cloudy for most with the best of any sunny intervals across England and Wales. Outbreaks of rain through many regions of Scotland, heavy and persistent across northern Scotland. Some showery rain affecting many western coasts and hills elsewhere though most will stay dry. Highs 7 to 12C.
