UK Forecast - August 23, 2021
Dry for most
low cloud/mist for some

Tuesday
The high pressure brings dry conditions on Tuesday, however, low cloud, mist and fog will linger across some locations to start the day, while others will bask in sunshine. Cloud cover does look to become more widespread from the east as the day progresses. Best of the lasting sunshine is furthest west where it will feel warmest. Highs at 18 to 25C.

Tuesday Night
Rather a lot of cloud cover is about overnight, particularly further east where there is the risk for some light rain/drizzle pushing in onto coasts, particularly East Anglia into Lincolnshire. Clearer skies furthest west. Lows staying in double figures at between 10 to 15C.

Wednesday
Wednesday does look like it will start off rather cloudy for many, particularly further east where the risk of light rain and drizzle along the coasts of SE England cannot be ruled out. Much of the cloud should lift allowing for more places to see sunny spells across the UK, always better lasting sunshine the further west you are. Some eastern areas do look like they will hold on to the cloud cover for much of the day though. Highs at 18 to 26C.

Thursday
High pressure centred just to the north of Scotland on Thursday. A mainly dry day once again but with low cloud, mist and fog expected along northern and eastern coasts in particular where they could be stubborn. Fog patches cannot be ruled out further inland too at the start the day either. These should lift rather quickly. Best of any lasting sunshine in locations further west. Highs at 17C on eastern coasts, 25C in the sunshine in the west.
