Tuesday
Weak fronts are going to be slipping south through the British Isles on Tuesday. This brings plenty of cloud. There could be a few spots of rain, mostly over Northern Ireland, northern and central as well as eastern England. Southern Wales and southwest England together with southern Ireland will be mostly dry but cloudy. Perhaps turning brighter in Scotland and the far north of England with some sunny spells. Tops at 15 to 18C, 21C in the far south of England.


Tuesday Night
A northwesterly flow persists over the UK and Ireland. There will be more cloud around, a few showers over northern Wales and northwest England. Further outbreaks of rain in the far north of Scotland too. Dry for most, some clear spells in the far south of England. Lows at 9 to 12C.
 


Wednesday
The northwest wind persists over the UK and Ireland on Wednesday. There could be some cloud in the far north of Scotland bringing a few outbreaks of rain here. Cloudier skies elsewhere, although some breaks occurring allowing for a few bright spells, mostly in central and southern areas. An occasionally shower in northwest England. Thicker cloud and risk of more persistent rain later in the day over southern parts of Ireland. Highs at 14C in northwest Scotland, 17 to 21C elsewhere.


Thursday
An area of showery rain will be tracking eastwards through much of Wales and southern England on Thursday. Cloudy with a few showers in Ireland. Another area of cloud will be affecting much of central and eastern Scotland with some showery bursts of rain here. Much fresher and brighter in northern Scotland. Northern England and Northern Ireland should be generally dry and bright with some sunny spells, and just an odd shower. Highs at 15 to 23C.
