Saturday
A cloudy day to come over much of the British Isles as Low pressure brings rain into Ireland. Drizzle, mist and fog affects many western coasts of Wales and England. Central and northern Scotland will be brighter and dry, with some early brightness in eastern England too. This afternoon sees more rain in Ireland, some of it heavy in the west, with more persistent rain in western and northern Wales as well as northwest England. Patchy drizzle in much of Wales and the Midlands. Plenty of low cloud and mist affecting southern coasts of England, although perhaps an odd brighter spells coming through here, especially in the east. Staying drier and brighter for central and northern Scotland, some good spells of sunshine here. Highs at 15C in Scotland, a muggy 17C in Ireland, 24C in any brightness in eastern England.

Saturday Night
A murky, damp night across northern and central Ireland as well as much of northern and western England and Wales. Low cloud and fog on coasts here too. Probably drier for southeast England although mist and fog on Channel coasts. Drier in Scotland, fresher here as well with some clear spells. Rain passing south through Orkney and Shetland, reaching northern Scotland in the early hours.

Sunday
More cloud and rain affecting Northern Ireland, the far north of England and southern Scotland on Sunday. A cold front moves into northern Scotland bringing some rain here, but dry elsewhere. A shallow area of low pressure affects southern Ireland, passing east and bringing some showery rain. Cloud and bits of rain for western Wales, tending to increasing later. Some bright and sunny spells forming in the Midlands and southern England as the day progresses. Highs at 25C in eastern England, 15C in northern Scotland and 20C in southern Ireland.

Monday
A rather cloudy, northwesterly flow is expected to affect the British Isles on Monday. Most areas are going to be dry and there will be some bright or sunny spells developing too, the best in central and southern areas. Thicker cloud and more persistent rain in western Scotland and parts of Northern Ireland later. Southern Ireland stays dry with bright or sunny spells. Highs at 15C in northern Scotland, 23C in southeast England.
