UK Forecast - August 15, 2021
Cooler northwest flow
Mainly dry, some showers

Monday
Monday sees a northwest wind blowing across the country which brings a fair amount of cloud with it. Early showers down eastern coasts should clear off, then patchy rain is mainly focused on the hills of northwest England and the north and west of Wales. Tending to be drier in central, eastern and southern areas. Light rain and drizzle reaching western Scotland wand over the coasts of north Ireland by evening. Highs at 15 to 22C.

Monday Night
Outbreaks of rain and drizzle spreading across Scotland overnight. This largely clearing much of central and western parts through the early hours while the rain pushes into northern and then central and eastern areas of England and north Wales by morning. Lows at 10 to 14C.

Tuesday
Patchy rain continues to affect northern and central parts of England as well as north Wales for a time Tuesday morning before largely clearing offshore later on. Drier and brighter weather across Scotland and then northern England later. More variable cloud cover further south as well as across Ireland and Northern Ireland, but it should be mostly dry here. Highs at 14 to 22C.

Wednesday
Low pressure east of the UK with high pressure west of Ireland on Wednesday so a north-westerly wind remains. Mostly dry with some bright or sunny spells but plenty of cloud too. Just a low risk of one or two showers in northern England and Scotland, perhaps the Midlands too. Cloudier in the far north of Scotland with the threat of some showery rain here. Rain reaching southwest Ireland by evening. Highs at 16 to 22C.
