Tuesday
High pressure stays centred to the northwest. Widespread cloud cover again across the country to start the day with some drizzle along some eastern coasts as well as a steady and cooler north to north-easterly breeze here. Sunshine breaking out for many through the day with the best of the lasting sunshine further west. Highs 17 to 22C, but only 14C on eastern coasts.

 


Tuesday night
Overnight, cloud looking to be pulled in again on the north-easterly wind across eastern and some southern regions of England and Scotland bringing in drizzle and light rain to some here. Clearer skies further west where minimum temperatures could drop to 7 or 8C. 10 to 13C further east and into the towns and cities.
 


Wednesday
High pressure remains west of Scotland. Eastern regions of England and Scotland are likely to be mostly cloud - the thicker cloud could bring drizzle to easternmost coasts, particularly through the morning. Largely dry and fine conditions with good spells of sunshine further west. A brisk and cool northerly breeze along eastern coasts. Highs at 17 to 23C, warmest across western areas.


Thursday
High pressure centred across Scotland on Thursday. Cloud still expected down easternmost regions as well as some southern English coasts through the morning but cloud should lift through the day for some. Elsewhere, dry with lengthy sunny spells. An easterly breeze for southern England. Light winds toward the north of Britain. Highs at 17 to 24C.
