Dry, bright spells
Rather cool

Sunday

Little changes in the afternoon with most places being dry. A scattering of showers may develop over eastern and southern areas. Highs at 12C in northern Scotland, 15 to 17C for many areas, up to 21C in the far south.

Sunday Night
More broken cloud overnight, some clear spells developing though, the best of them in more northern areas. A few showers in the northwest. Some thicker cloud may arrive in western Ireland. Lows near 5C in central Scotland, 10C in southern England.

Monday
A slack pressure flow on Monday as a weak ridge of high pressure builds. There will be more cloud, although again this is likely to be broken and so there will be some bright or sunny spells here and there. One or two showers over the hills of Wales and southern England in the afternoon. Some thicker cloud in western Ireland with some showery rain here for a few hours. Highs at 15 to 17C for most, 20C in the east.

Tuesday
An area of high pressure is in the North Sea on Tuesday with low pressure over western Ireland. Cloud and rain will be affecting Ireland in the afternoon. The UK should be seeing lots of dry weather with bright or sunny intervals. Scattered showers developing in eastern and southern areas during the afternoon, although these would only be light. Highs at 17 to 21C.
