Wednesday Early rain across Ireland, Northern Ireland and far west of Scotland will clear from the west allowing for drier and sunnier weather to develop. After a dry start across east Scotland, northern England and Wales, rain will then push in. Most likely becoming patchy across parts of northern into central areas of England. Dry with sunny spells further south and feeling warm here. Highs 16 to 19C further north and west, between 20 and 25C elsewhere.
Wednesday night Rain clears much of Scotland and northern England through the evening. Some bits and pieces of showery light rain across a few southern English counties but a mainly dry night. Best of the clear skies further north. Winds start to strengthen again in the far west with some patchy rain moving in here too later in the night. A chilly night further north and west with lows here dropping to 6 or 7C in places. Milder further south and east with lows generally around 11 to 15C.
Thursday Central, south and east England should stay mainly dry with periods of sunshine, however, as a weak front passes south there may be cloudier skies and the risk of a light shower for a time. Low pressure toward the west of Ireland brings brisk southwesterly winds and outbreaks of rain to Ireland, Northern Ireland and western Scotland. East Scotland looking to remain largely dry. Highs 17 to 27C, warmest in east & southeast England.
Friday Low pressure circulates north of Scotland bringing a brisk westerly wind and outbreaks of rain to northern and western areas of Scotland. Drier further east. Some showery rain for northwest England but elsewhere across England and Wales expect a dry day with sunny spells. Meanwhile, cloud thickens across Ireland and Northern Ireland in advance of rain pushing across. Highs 17 to 25C, warmest southeast.
