Thursday
Lots of cloud around again this morning. There will be some showery bursts of rain in western Wales and southwest England as well as parts of eastern Ireland. A few spots of rain in the far south of Scotland too. Drier in central and eastern areas with a few brighter spells here. Further bursts of showery rain passing into the Midlands, parts of northern and southern England in the afternoon. Further rain in southern and eastern Ireland, lots of drizzle, low cloud and mist affecting southwestern coasts and southern and western Wales. Becoming brighter in northern Scotland. Highs at 14C in northern Scotland, 24C in southeast England, 21C in southern Ireland.

Thursday Night
Eastern areas of the country should be dry with some clearer spells developing. Showery spots of rain tending to fade in central and southern areas, although western coasts, especially the southwest and Welsh coasts will have lots of low cloud, mist and some fog patches. Heavier rain reaching southern and western Ireland later. Lows at 8 to 12C.
 

Friday
A front bringing heavy periods of rain across Ireland, some of it thundery. Low cloud and drizzle over southwest England and western Wales as well as southwest Scotland. A few bright spells ion eastern England and eastern Scotland. The afternoon sees the more persistent rain reaching western Wales and southwest Scotland, then northwest England by the evening. The rain is heavy again in Ireland with a risk of thunder. Drier and cloudy in other areas and feeling muggy. Highs at 25C in central and eastern England, 21C in Ireland, 17C in central Scotland.

Saturday
An area of low pressure moves through Ireland and into the west of the UK on Saturday. This brings a wet day to much of Ireland, Scotland and west of the UK. The rain is going to be turning heavy and thundery as the day progresses. Central and eastern areas should be drier at first, although cloudy and very muggy. A risk of some thunderstorms. Cloudy and damp in Scotland, drizzle and outbreaks of rain west and south. The rain heavy in parts of central and eastern Ireland too. Highs at 28C in southeast England, 17C in northern Scotland, 19C in Ireland.
