Dry, best sun in west
Cloudier east

Sunday
Rather cloudy for much of northern and eastern England as well as Scotland on Sunday. There will be some outbreaks of rain, most of it being light. Brighter for much of southern Ireland, Wales and southwest England. Further showers this afternoon over western parts of England and Scotland, this risk extending through central and southeastern parts of England too. Some reasonable spells of sunshine too. Highs at 17C on eastern coasts, 23C in the west and south.

Sunday Night
A few showers in the west of Scotland and western England on Sunday evening, although these fade. Dry for most with broken cloud and a few clear spells. Local mist patches by the morning. Lows at 10 to 12C.

Monday
An area of high pressure is going to be dominating the weather across the UK and Ireland on Monday. There could be some cloud in northern and eastern Scotland as well as eastern England, but this breaks with sunny spells developing. The best of the sunshine in western and southern areas. Generally dry, although a chance of a shower over the high ground of Wales and Scotland. Highs at 19 to 24C.

Tuesday
Another largely dry day come Tuesday as high pressure is dominant, however, with an easterly flow present expect cloudier skies towards SE England and along southern English counties. Plenty of dry and fair weather elsewhere. Perhaps cloudier for central and north Scotland with the small risk of a local shower popping up later in the day here. Highs at 19 to 26C, although again cooler down eastern coasts.
