Tuesday
A cloudy start to the day for most of the UK and Ireland. There will be some mist and fog patches, these slowly lifting, but remaining murky for many. Stronger winds and some rain for northern and western Scotland as well as the far west of Ireland and western Scotland. The rain turns more persistent in the afternoon in these areas. Drier in eastern Scotland although some drizzle coud occur here too. Drier in central and southern England and Wales, a few bright spells in the east. Patchy drizzle may affect western Wales. Highs at 10 to 13C.

Tuesday Night
Showery rain in northern England and Wales this evening, tending to fade as it moves into the Midlands and southwest England. Showers in western Scotland but overall drier in Scotland and Ireland. Some clear spells in eastern and southern England and dry for the vast majority of places. Lows at 2 to 5C in northern and western areas, 7C in the east.
 

Wednesday
A ridge of high pressure building to the south on Wednesday. The flow remains a moist westerly bringing cloud and some outbreaks of drizzle over western coasts and hills. Eastern areas will have breaks in the cloud with a few bright spells coming through. Staying similar in the afternoon with more bright spells in the east. Western areas will be cloudier with the risk of some drizzle over northern and western coasts and hills as well as western Ireland. More persistent rain in Shetland and Orkney. Highs at 9 to 12C.

Thursday
High pressure remains to the south of the British Isles on Thursday. Low pressure is to the north. Fronts tracking through northern Scotland bringing rain in Shetland and Orkney, some drizzle over northwest coasts of Scotland. Drier for the rest of Scotland, England and Wales. Always lots of cloud, especially in the west, but some bright spells breaking through, the best in the east. Breezy in northern Scotland, lighter winds to the south. Highs at a very mild 12 to 14C.
