Some patchy rain

Tuesday
A dull and damp day with periods of rain across east Ireland, northern England and much of Wales. Misty with cloud shrouding the hills. Cloud and patchy rain initially across the south of Scotland too but this soon clearing south. Drier with sunny spells across southern and central England. A further area of rain associated with a front will be reaching northwest Scotland and the far west of Ireland. Rain eventually clearing from eastern Ireland. Highs at 11 to 16C.


Tuesday Night
Continuing to be wet overnight across Wales, clearing the northwest later. Rain sliding south and into central parts of England including the Midlands. Staying dry with some clear spells further south. Some light rain and drizzle across western coasts and hills through Ireland and Scotland but drier elsewhere here. Lows at a mild 6 to 11C for most, however cooler across Scotland.


Wednesday
The front is over central and southern England as well as Wales on Wednesday bringing more cloud, rain and drizzle here. Misty too with some fog drifting onto the hills and coasts. Brighter further north with some sunshine in Scotland and Ireland, best in the east. Rain pushing in on to northern and western regions of Scotland though. Highs at a mild 14C across southern England, 9C or 10C in Scotland.


Thursday
A largely dry start, although likely to still be wet with some patchy rain across southeast England. Rain will progressively push across Scotland on Thursday, most in the west. Rain also affects western parts of Ireland and Northern Ireland. Sunny spells and dry weather elsewhere. Staying mild in the south at 14C, 10C in northern Scotland.
