Tuesday
A morning frost to start the day for many. This clears to leave a fair morning with dry conditions and some decent spells of sunshine for much of England, Wales and southern Ireland. A few bits of low cloud may affect the far southeastern coasts of England, perhaps with a spot of drizzle here. Thicker cloud in Scotland where there may be some drizzle over northern and northwestern coasts and hills. The afternoon sees little change with most cloud in the north and west of Scotland. Other areas should be dry with the best of the sunshine in the south. Highs around 6 to 9C.


Tuesday Night
An increased breeze with some rain moving into the north and west of Scotland overnight. This rain reaching northwest Ireland by the morning. Other areas will have broken cloud and should be mostly dry. Clearer spells in eastern and southern areas. There may be a touch of frost here and there by the morning in sheltered areas of England, Wales and Ireland. Lows at 1 to 3C for many, 5C in western Scotland and western Ireland.


Wednesday
Low pressure to the north of Scotland on Wednesday. A cold front brings a band of cloud and showery rain passing through Scotland, northern England, Ireland and Ireland. Following to the north and west will be brighter weather with some heavy showers in northwestern Scotland. Central, eastern and southern England will be brighter with sunny spells. A cool day at 6 to 8C.
 


Thursday
A weak cold front clearing southeast England on Thursday brining some cloud and a few showers here. More cloud generally, especially over northern England, Scotland and Ireland with a ridge of high pressure remaining here. A warm front approaching northwest Scotland allowing for some drizzle over northwestern parts of Scotland. The best of any sunshine in central and southern areas of the country. Highs at 4 to 6C.
