UK Forecast - November 26, 2021
High winds, feeling cold
Rain, sleet and snow

Saturday
After a frosty start in the north on Saturday it will remain cold throughout the day as temperatures struggle to rise much. Low pressure remains in the North Sea with higher pressure out in the Atlantic. This continues to bring a very strong to gale force northwest wind across the country, easing off though across Scotland. Expect periods of rain and sleet in eastern areas with snow on the hills. Some wintry showers affecting western parts of Wales and southwest England as well as on to northern coasts of Ireland, Northern Ireland and Scotland. Largely dry with sunny spells elsewhere here. Highs at 2 to 5C.

Saturday Night
Overnight, wintry showers continue to affect coastal areas, snow through northern Scotland. Elsewhere, it will be dry with clear skies allowing for a frost to develop across Scotland and Northern England, a hard frost in places. Lows at -3 to 4C.

Sunday
A widespread frost to start Sunday across much of the country, and a hard frost in parts of Scotland and northern England. Wintry showers continuing to affect eastern coasts with a brisk wind continuing to affect the far south and southeast. A stream of showers affects west Wales and southwest England, these merging into more persistent spells of rain later. Some rain, sleet and snow pushing into northern Scotland later too. Sunshine and dry conditions elsewhere in the UK. Patchy rain affecting Ireland and Northern Ireland throughout the day. Another cold day with highs at 2 to 6C.

Monday
A slack pressure flow on Monday with the cold air still about brings a widespread frosty start across the country. There will be plenty of cloud though through the day for most places. Outbreaks of rain in Scotland, Ireland and Northern Ireland will largely clear here and push in to northern England with patchy rain across parts of Wales and southwest England by the afternoon. Drier further southeast. Highs at 3 to 7C.
