Friday
High pressure stays to the south of the country through Friday. There will be a brisk westerly wind still across the northern half of the country, this will bring more cloud across western areas, perhaps some drizzle across coasts and hills. More frequent showers through northern and western Scotland. Best of the sunny spells in the east. Mist and fog patches could be about across parts of England and Wales. Highs at 10 to 14C and so remaining mild.


Friday Night
Overnight, it should be mostly dry with clear spells. Staying breezy through Scotland, Northern Ireland and northern England with heavier, more persistent rainfall across north and west Scotland. Some mist and drizzle affecting western coasts and hills across Wales and southwest England too. Lows at a relatively mild 5 to 9C.
 


Saturday
During Saturday a cold front moves southwards through Scotland and Northern Ireland, then into northern England and Ireland by the afternoon but as little more than a band of a few showers by then. Brighter, colder weather follows to Scotland and Northern Ireland. Dry with some good spells of sunshine for most across England and Wales, staying mild in the south. Highs at 9 or 10C in northern Scotland, 12 or 13C in southern England.


Sunday
A colder day for Sunday with high pressure west of Ireland, a north to northeast flow for all. There will be some showers in northern and eastern areas of Scotland and England, the showers wintry over higher ground. Good spells of sunshine in western and most southern areas of England and Ireland. A risk of cloud throughout the day in the southeast of England with rain here. Highs at 5 to 9C.
