Sunny spells and scattered showers

Good morning,

Plenty of sunshine this morning over much of the country. The best sunshine in England and eastern Wales as well as western Ireland. Cloudier skies in northeast Scotland with some outbreaks of rain here.

This afternoon sees the risk of some heavy showers in eastern Scotland, as well as scattered showers running sown the eastern coasts and hills of England. Further isolated showers could affect Wales and southern England as well as eastern Ireland. Elsewhere it will be fine with god spells of sunshine, although always a risk of some cloud in the southwest.

Mostly dry overnight with the showers fading. Broken cloud in Ireland, Wales and western Scotland. An isolated showers could affect northern Scotland.
