Fresh breeze on south coast

Good morning,

A strong area of high pressure is centred over eastern England. A dry day overall with lots of sunshine and light winds for most.

A fresh easterly breeze for English Channel coasts and a southerly flow in west & northern regions.
 

A weak warm front moves across the Northern Isles, with cloud and a chance of patchy rain here for a time.

Today's top temperatures will reach 16 to 19C, although a few degrees lower near coasts. Northern Scotland may top 20C thanks to a southerly flow and foehn effect over the Highlands.
