Duty forecaster: Garry Nicholson

A fresh breeze; warmest southeast

Good morning,

Low pressure stays centred northwest of the British Isles today, producing a fresh and showery southwesterly pattern.

Frequent rain for the west and northwest, with clusters of showers spreading eastwards across northern Britain through the day. Blustery around the Irish Sea.

A scattering of showers for the Midlands, locally heavy. Mainly dry toward the southeast of England.

Today's top temperatures reaching 20C in the southeast, 15 to 18C for many, but only 13C western Scotland.

Have a great day.
Garry
