Rain and windy in central and northern England and Wales, drier north and south

Good morning,

A cloudy and wet morning through parts of southwest England, Wales and northern England. Breezy here too. Patchier rain in the Midlands and southern England, a few bright spells in the southeast. Scotland and most of the island of Ireland should be drier and brighter with sunny spells, but some cloud in northeast Scotland with a few showers here.

The rain affects northern England on Tuesday afternoon. Showery bursts of rain through central and eastern England as well as the southwest and southern Wales. Brighter and milder in the far south. Scattered showers in northern and eastern Scotland as well as central Ireland.

More rain tonight in Wales, southwest England and the Midlands as wel as East Anglia, a few showers to the south. Scotland and much of Ireland and Northern Ireland will be dry.
