Monday
A weak front brings cloud and some mostly patchy rain through the far south of Ireland, Wales and northern England with little change during the day. Bright spells in southern and eastern England, some sunshine too, although showers drifting into the Midlands in the afternoon. Fresher and breezy to the north and west with sunny spells and some showers. The heaviest of the showers in northern and western Scotland. Highs at 20C in the sunshine in the southeast, 15C in northern Scotland.


Monday Night
Tonight is dry with variable cloud through most of England and Wales. Clearer spells in Ireland and northern Englad as well as the east and south of Scotland. Cloud and rain in northwest Scotland, the rain heavy at times. Lows near 6 to 10C.

 
 
 


Tuesday
Some cloud and showery rain reaching southern England and southern Wales on Tuesday morning as low pressure drifts north. The rain then moves through Wales, central and southern England in the afternoon, some of it heavy and thundery. Further rain in northwest Scotland, breezy too with the rain heavy at times. Brighter in parts of southern Scotland and northern England as well as Ireland. Highs at 14C in northern Scotland, 23C in southern England.


Wednesday
Another unsettled day with low pressure bringing rain to many areas. Heavy periods of rain passing eastwards during the day, some thundery. Rather murky with hill fog for some. Brighter in the west with showers, these turning heavy in Ireland and the west of Scotland. Highs near 22C in southeast England, 15 to 17C for most.
