Dry for many
Pleasant temperatures

Duty forecaster: Garry Nicholson

Some rain or drizzle north-west

Good morning,

High pressure influences central and south & eastern areas of Britain, bringing plenty of dry and bright weather, with broken cloud and sunshine.

A brisk south to southwesterly breeze affects the west & north, and fronts will move across Ireland into the Irish Sea. Ireland will become increasingly wet through the day.

Patchy rain or drizzle for northern and western Britain, but mostly amounting to very little. Rain then moves into west & south-west Scotland by evening, turning persistent.

Today's top temperatures will reach 25C or locally warmer in East Anglia. Nearer 21 to 24C across the Midlands and Yorkshire. 17 to 19C for the north and west of Britain. Locally reaching 23C in north-east Scotland.

Have a great day.
Garry
