Hot again south-east
Drizzly rain Scotland

Lots of sunshine south & east, cloudier north & west

Good morning,

High pressure continues to influence southern Britain today, with more hot sunshine for many places. Hazier skies toward the north and west of England & Wales, with some low cloud around coasts and hills.

A cold front edges slowly southwards across Scotland and Ireland, bringing patchy rain or drizzle, which will fade slowly across the Highlands, and skies will slowly brighten from the north.

Generally light winds, southwesterlies in northern areas. Gentle sea breezes around coasts in the south.

Today's top temperatures will again climb above 30C in south-east England. Around 27 to 29C in central counties. Nearer 19 to 22C for the north & west of England & Wales, also Ireland. Eastern Scotland will reach 21 to 23C, but only 16C in the West Highlands.

Have a great day.
Garry
