Morning Call - August 09, 2018
Showers in the north and west
Rain into the southeast

Issued: 0530hrs Thursday 9th August 2018
Duty forecaster: Simon Keeling

Possibility of heavy rain in the far east and southeast

Good morning,

Sunny intervals but also a scattering of showers for Scotland and Ireland, the showers most likely in the north and west. Dry across much of England and Wales with some sunshine, the best of this across northern and western areas. However, an area of rain, some heavy and perhaps thundery, will run through the far east and southeast of England.

Highest temperatures today 14 to 17C in northern and western areas, 19 to 21C across central parts but with values lowering in any heavier rain towards the east and southeast.
