Showery weekend. Drier for most next week, before turning more mixed again.

A mixed Bank Holiday weekend with cloud, sunny spells as well as showers, some heavy and thundery. Warm in south. Next week will see largely dry conditions though towards the end of the week will turn more mixed with showers moving in to southern regions.

High pressure looks to play a more dominant role by Tuesday with most staying dry and fine with developing sunny spells again and rising temperatures, though the odd shower cannot be ruled out through the north and west. Highs at at 12 to 18C.

 
 
 

Wednesday 3/5/23
High pressure keeps most dry on Wednesday with many seeing sunny spells, though perhaps always more cloud across Scotland, Ireland and Northern Ireland where some patchy rain is expected. Highs at 12 to 18C.

Thursday 4/5/23
A strengthening southeastly wind on Thursday as high pressure centres north of Scoland and low pressure in the Atlantic. Another mostly dry day though the risk of some patchy rain through northern and eastern Scotland. Showers moving in across south ireland and SW England later and overnight. Highs at 11 to 19C.

Friday 5/5/23
By Friday weather looks like it could turn more mixed through Ireland, southern England and Wales with showers as well as longer spells of rain about. Further north and east staying mostly dry though windy. Highs at cooler 10 to 14C for most.

Saturday 6/5/23
Saturday sees a more mixed day more widely across the country with parts of Scotland seeing a few developing showers too. Also sunny spells and dry periods about. Highs at 10 to 16C.

Sunday 7/5/23
Mixed with showery rain across the west and south, while further north stays largely dry with the best of the lasting sunny spells. Highs at 11 to 17C.
