Dry Easter weekend then unsettled.

A largely dry Easter weekend and feeling warm in the sunshine. Next week turns more unsettled with frequent rain and showers along with strengthened winds at times.

Easter Sunday 9/4/23
After a chilly start, it will be a largely dry day again on Sunday, though always more cloud and outbreaks of rain through Ireland, Northern Ireland and the far west of Scotland. Turning breezier here too. Sunny spells and dry conditions across England, Wales and muchy of Scotland with lighter winds and feeling warm in the sun. Highs at 12 to 15C.
 

Holiday Monday 10/4/23
A band of showery rain passing eastwards on Monday, falling heavy and persistent at times. Turning brighter behind though with many showers, some heavy towards the west. Highs at 10 to 15C.

Tuesday 11/4/23
Tuesday morning will be largely dry and fine, though will turn increasingly wet and windy across Ireland, Northern Ireland and western areas of the UK as the day progresses. Highs at 9 to 13C.

Wednesday 12/4/23
An area of low pressure moves over Scotland on Wednesday. An unsettled day with sunny spells and showers, these heavy in places and some merging into longer spells of rain across northern and western areas. Drier further south and east. Winds will also be high and gusty throughout the country. Highs at a chilly 8 to 11C.

Thursday 13/4/23
As lower pressure fills and moves away from the UK Thursday will be a quieter day with sunny spells and showers, these mainly across western areas. Winds will continue to ease back too. Highs at 10 to 13C.

Friday 14/4/23
Atlantic low pressure moves in again on Friday with spells of rain pushing eastwards across the country, falling heavy and persistent in the west, clearing far western areas later. Winds strengthen again. Highs at 10 to 14C.
