Wednesday 26/02/20
Conditions stay mixed with west to north-westerly winds on Wednesday. Areas of showers, most frequent north and west, with snow and hail over the hills. These tending to fade through the day. Central and southeastern England more often dry with sunshine. Cloud builds from the southwest and rain arrives over Ireland and the far southwest of the UK later. Highs at 3 to 7C.

Thursday 27/02/20
An area of rain, sleet and possibly some snow to lower levels, clears east from Wales and England through the morning to leave a drier, brighter afternoon. Scotland could see a more persistent band of snow spread from south to north through the day. A drier day for Ireland and Northern Ireland with just the odd shower to the north and west. High temperatures at 1 to 12C.

Friday 28/02/20
Multiple areas of low pressure around the UK and Ireland bring outbreaks of heavy rain, hill snow and strong winds to southern and western areas on Friday. This turns to snow over higher ground. Drier and brighter north and east. Highs ranging from 3 to 10C.

Saturday 29/02/20
Confidence in the detail is low but it looks as though low pressure stays in control into the weekend continuing to bring mixed conditions to the UK and Ireland with gusty winds, outbreaks of rain, hill snow and frequent showers. Highs at 2 to 7C.

Sunday 01/03/20
Low pressure may move to the east on Sunday as high pressure builds to the west. This sets up a chilly northerly flow across the UK and Ireland. Mostly dry and bright to the west, wintry showers for eastern areas. Highs of 2 to 5C.

Monday 02/03/20
High pressure may get squeezed east on Monday bringing a dry and mostly bright day to Great Britain. Cloud builds and rain spreads over Ireland and Northern Ireland as low pressure arrives from the west once again. Highs of 3 to 6C.
