Sunday
Morning rain in eastern Scotland and eastern England. Some showers over western coasts and hills. Drier in other areas although rather cloudy. This afternoon sees the rain clearing east. brighter conditions then follow with some bright or sunny spells. Heavy showers again afecting western coasts and hills. The showers tending to fade in the west later in the day. Highs at 8 to 11C and feeling chilly.


Sunday Night
Scattered showers over western Scotland and northwest England at first this evening. These should be fading and then most overt the country will be dry with clear spells. Thickening cloud in Ireland and western parts of the UK later with gales reaching Ireland in the early hours together with heavy rain. The gales and rain into southwest England later. Lows near 2 to 4C under clearer skies, 8C in southwest England and Ireland.


Monday
An area of low pressure over Ireland on Monday. This has fronts wrapped around it with some heavy periods of rain across Ireland and most of England and Wales. A drier start in most of Scotland but rain moving in the south in the morning. The afternoon stays wet across much of northern and eastern England with a risk of some flooding. Brighter weather follows through western and southern England and Wales with heavy showers and strong winds here a risk of gales. Some showers in eastern Scotland, drier in the west. Highs at 7 to 10C.


Tuesday
Low pressure crossing England and Wales on Tuesday. Showers for many, especially in southern areas where some of them may be heavy and thundery at times. Cloud and some rain affecting eastern Scotland with more persistent rain in northern Scotland. Orkney and Shetland. There will be some sunny spells too, best of these in the west. It will be a chilly day with high sat 6 to 9C.
