A bright start for many with sunny spells developing for most on Monday. A few mist and fog patches are to be expected but these are likely to lift as the morning progresses. Largely dry conditions though there are some scattered showers about, these mainly towards southern and western coasts of the UK. Highs at 8 to 12C.
 


Monday Night
A mostly dry night with clear skies. Mist and fog will become widespread and in places dense through the night. Some frost developing as lows drop below zero for some. Most overnight minimums are likely to stay between 1 to 5C.

 
 
 


Tuesday
A ridge of high pressure sits over the country on Tuesday. After a chilly night expect a frosty start for some along with widespread and dense mist and fog. The fog is likely to struggle to lift for some through the day. Where it does expect a bright day with sunshine and dry weather. Feeling markedly cooler than of late with highs around 6 to 9C.
 


Wednesday
Another chilly, frosty start for many with dense mist and fog about along with a few scattered showers affecting some coasts. Most will be dry with sunshine developing where the fog lifts. Cloudier skies with possible rain brushing the far northwest of Ireland and Scotland. Highs struggling to lift in the north at 3 to 7C here, 6 to 10C elsewhere.
