Tuesday
A band of rain edging east through Tuesday. This will be affecting much of western Scotland Wales and western England early on. The rain then edges east to be across eastern and southern Scotland and eastern England around late morning into the early afternoon. Drier, brighter weather follows to the west, some sunny spells here, but then some heavy showers by the middle of the afternoon. Windy ahead of the rain. Highs at 8 to 12C.


Tuesday Night
Dry for many inland areas tonight. There will be rain in northern Scotland at first, but this should clear. Western and southern coasts and hills will have showers throughout the night, some of them heavy and prolonged. Lows near 7 to 11C.

 
 
 


Wednesday
Heavy showers along southern coasts on Wednesday morning. A few showers in western Scotland and western parts of Wales as well as eastern Scotland. Drier and brighter for other areas with some sunny spells. Later in the day cloud will be increasing in the southwest as a deepening area of low pressure pushes heavy periods of rain into southern Ireland, southwest England and southern Wales by late afternoon and evening. Winds increasing in the southwest too. Highs at 9 to 12C.


Thursday
Heavy showers or longer spells of rain affecting southern and central parts of England and Wales on Thursday. These continuing through the day. ore rain in Scotland too with strong winds in the north and east. Heavy showers in Ireland and western parts of Scotland. Tending to become brighter in the west of Wales and western England in the afternoon. Highs at 9 to 12C.
