Wednesday
Pressure remains high for most of the country on Wednesday allowing for dry weather with sunny spells for many, though perhaps hazier skies compared to previous days. Scattered showers developing in East Anglia and the southeast, one or two even forming centrally across England. Thicker cloud across Scotland and windy in the far north of Scotland with rain affecting central and northern areas, some heavy. Highs near 12C in northwest Scotland, 18 or 19C in southern England.


Wednesday Night
Outbreaks of rain continue across Scotland overnight moving in to southern areas also and even northern England for a time. Dry with cloudier skies elsewhere though clear spells developing through Ireland and Northern Ireland. Lows at 7 to 10C.

 
 
 


Thursday
High pressure ridges in across southern areas through Thursday giving broken cloud and sunny spells, the best of the sunshine in south and east. A cold front approaches western Ireland bringing some patchy rain here. A risk of some drizzle and patchy rain in northern and northwestern Scotland. Low cloud affecting the hills and coast here too. Highs at a warmer 17 to 21C for many though cooler across western areas.


Friday
High pressure remains largely in control through Friday, though there is a risk of some cloud and patchy rain across parts of England, possibly turning heavy for a time later. One or two showers in eastern Scotland also. Otherwise, dry with sunny spells. Highs at 16 to 21C.
