Thursday
High pressure ridges in across southern areas through Thursday giving broken cloud and sunny spells along with largely dry weather. Meanwhile, a cold front approaches western Ireland as well as north and west Scotland in the morning bringing thicker cloud and outbreaks of rain here. Through the afternoon the rain breaks up as it pushes southeastwards across Scotland into southern areas as well as in to eastern counties of Ireland and Northern Ireland. A few scattered showers may just develop across some east and south-eastern English counties too. Highs at a warmer 16 to 22C for many though cooler across western areas.


Thursday Night
The cold front continues to push east and south clearing western and central areas of Scotland as well as Ireland and Northern Ireland. The rain moves south across England and Wales through the early hours of Friday. The far south staying mostly dry. Lows at 6 to 11C.
 


Friday
High pressure remains largely in control through Friday, though the cold front, albeit weakened, will still bring some showery rain to places particularly through central and southern England. Brighter weather also looks to develop. Elsewhere will remain mostly dry with sunny spells, though turning cloudier across the north and west. Highs at 16 to 21C.
 


Saturday
An extended front from the Atlantic moves in to far western areas on Saturday. This will bring cloudier skies and outbreaks of rain to north and west Scotland, some patchy lighter rain to western regions of Ireland and Northern Ireland. With higher pressure influencing elsewhere it will be dry and fine with hazy sunshine. Highs at a 16 to 21C for most.
