Friday
High pressure builds in across the country on Friday seeing most stay dry with sunny spells, best of these in the west as cloud will gradually build across eastern into central areas through the morning. Meanwhile outbreaks of rain are expected to soon move in across East Anglia, SE England, Lincolnshire and as far north as East Yorkshire during the morning, then to move westwards and affect the Midlands and some central and southern counties of England, though the rain is expected to break up and become patchy. Highs in the west up to 17 to 20C, further east around 11 to 15C.


Friday Night
Any patchy rain left by the evening will move into far southern and southwestern counties of England before clearing over the Channel. A mostly dry night thereafter with clear spells though some mist and fog developing. A slightly cooler night. Lows at a cooler 4 to 9C.
 


Saturday
A ridge of high pressure brings a mostly dry and fair day on Saturday with plenty of warm sunshine about, once any mist and fog patches lift across northern and western areas mostly. Cloud will gradually increase across the north and west with the risk of some rain across NW Scotland later. Highs warmer for all at 17 to 21C.
 


Sunday
Cloudy skies and outbreaks of rain progressively moving eastwards across Scotland, Ireland and Northern Ireland on Sunday though clearing from western areas here later. Cloud quickly builds across northern and western regions of England and Wales where outbreaks of rain will push in to by the afternoon. Staying largely dry with the best of the lasting sunshine across central and southeast England where highs will climb to 19 or 20C. Elsewhere, highs at 11 to 15C.
