UK Forecast - May 04, 2023
Unsettled
Warm & humid

Friday
Friday is unsettled with sunny spells in places but also widespread developing showers, these turning heavy at times with the risk of lightning. Some merging into longer spells of rain. As the afternoon progresses we could find many areas through southern England becoming dry and fine and feeling rather warm. Showers continue elsewhere, particularly centrally. Humid in the south, fresher in the north. Highs ranging from 11 to 19C.

Friday night
Showers ease back overnight across much of the country, though will continue through parts of Scotland. Through the early hours outbreaks of rain will move in to southwestern and southern English counties. Lows at 5 to 9C for most, cooler still across northern Scotland.

Saturday
Unsettled again for many on Saturday with thicker cloud and persistent rain moving in across southern England and Wales before moving into central areas and then northern parts of England during the afternoon, largely clearing far southern counties. Meanwhile elsewhere, sunny spells and showers will develop further north and west, some of these will be heavy and merge into longer spells of rain. Highs at a humid 14 to 19C.

Sunday
Sunday should be an improved day for many with more seeing dry weather conditions, though still with the risk of heavy showers about, particularly further east. Rain moving in to the south of Ireland by evening. Humid and warm for many with highs at 14 to 20C.
