Monday
Heavier cloud again across many central and eastern regions of Scotland into the Borders and northwest England with some patchy light rain about. Sunny spells developing here but the risk of showers heightens in to the afternoon. Largely dry and fine elsewhere with lasting sunshine for many though a stiff northerly wind across eastern English counties and west Wales. Highs at 20C in the sunshine in central areas of England, 12C in northwest Scotland.


Monday Night
Any showers gradually fizzle out thruogh the evening to allow for a largely dry night through cloud is expected to build. The risk of some light rain/drizzle for the odd location in the west. Lows at 5 to 8C.

 
 
 


Tuesday
Pressure stays high through Ireland and the British Isles on Tuesday. There will be a fair amount of cloud though still with some bright or sunny spells for many areas. More cloud in northern and western Scotland with a risk of some patchy lighter rain in western areas and some low cloud on hills and coasts of northwest Scotland too. Temperatures at 12C in northwest Scotland, widely 16 to 18C.


Wednesday
A weak front passing east through Scotland on Wednesday will bring cloudier skies and the risk of some light rain and drizzle. Otherwise, dry for most other areas with broken cloud and sunny spells. Highs at 21C in England and Wales, 10C in northwest Scotland.
