Thundery showers Thursday
Feeling warm in the sun

Thursday
The area of low pressure slips south through the British Isles on Thursday. Broken cloud and some showers in the morning especially through eastern Scotland, eastern and southern England as well as Wales. The slow moving showers turning heavier and thundery into the afternoon across much of England, Wales and southern Scotland as well as eastern Ireland. Probably drier and brighter for much of central and northern Scotland as well as western Ireland as higher pressure builds in here. Highs at 14 to 19C.

Thursday Night
Showers soon ease off in the evening to allow for a largey dry rest of the night with clear spells, though this could allow for some mist and fog pacthes to develop further north and west. Lows at 6 to 9C.

Friday
A drier day on Friday thanks to high pressure building in across the country, though with rather a lot of cloud about, particularly further east. A risk of some showery rain moving in across some eastern and more particularly SE England later pushing west. Best of the sunshine will be in the west where it will feel warmest with highs up to 19 or 20C here. Feeling cool on eastern coasts in the cloud and breeze with highs here at 10 to 13C.

Saturday
A ridge of high pressure brings a mostly dry and fair day on Saturday with plenty of warm sunshine about, once any mist and fog patches lift across northern and western areas mostly. Cloud will increase across far western areas with the risk of some rain across NW Scotland later. Highs warmer for all at 16 to 20C.
