UK Forecast - May 31, 2023
Dry & fine
Sunniest in west

Thursday
Pressure is going to be staying high on Thursday. An east to northeast flow affects all parts of the British Isles and this brings some cloud into eastern and central areas in the morning once again. Sunnier skies in western parts, and this sunshine burns through the cloud to the east as the day progresses. Breezy in southern England again. Highs at 24C in the west, 15C in the east.

Thursday Night
Overnight, it will remain dry with the cloud pulling in again on to eastern and many central areas. Western regions of the UK and much of Ireland will stay clear. Lows mostly around 6 to 9C, though a few regions across Scotland could become colder.

Friday
High pressure remains to the north of Scotland on Friday. Cloud in the east continues to feed in from the North Sea, extending into the Midlands and southern areas of England in the morning. This should break with sunny spells developing. Fair weather cloud in central and western Scotland and parts of Ireland but this won't ruin the sunshine in these areas. Always the best sunshine in the west. Highs at 24C in western Ireland, 22C in western Wales and western Scotland, 15C along cloudier eastern coasts.

Saturday
High pressure northwest of Scotland on Saturday again. The east to northeast flow persists bringing some cloud to eastern areas at first. The best sunshine in the west and this will be breaking the cloud and bringing it back to the coasts in the east. Highs at 23C in the west, 16C on eastern coasts.
