Rain in west, some heavy. Warm southeast.

A front will bring outbreaks of rain, often heavy, across Ireland and Northern Ireland through Friday morning, as well as some low cloud and drizzle across SW England into the far west of Scotland. After a mostly dry start across the rest of the western UK patchy rain will move in here, turning heavy across parts of western Scotland and perhaps NW England. Staying mainly dry elsewhere.
Overnight, spells of rain will continue to affect much of Scotland, before clearing from the west here, Wales and western parts of England. Rain largely clearing Northern Ireland and Ireland as the night progresses although eastern areas may just see heavier rain push in later on. Central, southern and many eastern regions of England will stay dry and continue to feel rather muggy.
Feeling very warm and muggy across central and SE England with highs here at 24 to 27C. Gradually cooler further north and west with highs across Scotland at 18C and Ireland 20C.
