Breezy in the east

Good morning,

The weather story is a very familiar one through the rest of this weekend, and indeed will change very little into next week as a slow-moving area of high pressure influences our weather.

A cool northerly wind affects eastern regions, particularly fresh on North Sea coasts, where top temperatures will struggle to do better than 14C on the seafronts. Local drizzly showers may affect Moray coasts and northeast England.

Cloudy skies will spill inland across England, with the best of the sunny breaks toward the west and southwest. The West Highlands and southwest Scotland will also see plenty of sun once any early mist patches break up. Varied cloud for Northern Ireland.

Today's top temperatures will reach 20 to 22C in sunnier spots across the Midlands, southern England & Wales, also western Scotland.

Have a great day.
Garry
