Largely dry
Showers in the north

Issued: 0530hrs Tuesday 10th August 2021

A building ridge creating drier and warmer conditions

Largely dry and feeling warmer for many, although Scotland will still see showery rain.

A largely dry day with sunny spells for many, however, showers will still affect parts of central and eastern Scotland, some of which are likely to be heavy. Showers may extend down across some northeastern coasts of England too. Cloud building across Ireland and Northern Ireland.

Showers across Scotland should fizzle out overnight and many places will be dry with clear spells. Cloud continues to build in the west and more persistent rain will push into western regions of Ireland and Northern Ireland. Patchy lighter rain looking to affect west and south Scotland, northwest England and some western areas of Wales.

Highs generally between 15 and 24C, warmest to the south and east.
