Generally dry and settled but cloud cover varies

Good morning,

Widespread cloud cover again across the country to start the day with some drizzle along some eastern coasts as well as a steady and cooler north to north-easterly breeze here. Sunshine breaking out for many through the day with the best of the lasting sunshine further west.

Overnight, cloud looking to be pulled in again on the north-easterly wind across eastern and some southern regions of England and Scotland bringing in drizzle and light rain to some here.

Highs 17 to 22C, but only 14C on eastern coasts. Overnight, with the clearer skies further west minimum temperatures could drop to 7 or 8C. 10 to 13C further east and into the towns and cities.
